The purpose of studying abroad in Ukraine: training of highly qualified specialists who have acquired professional knowledge to perform professional tasks, responsibilities of applied nature and production activities in the development, manufacture and application of tools and methods of maintenance and diagnostics of automotive engines.

Training of foreign specialists, who received education abroad, for professional qualification of engineer in the organization of operation and repair in the field of engine maintenance to ensure the development, production and use of tools and methods of maintenance and diagnostics of automotive engines, as well as their certification, including compliance with current environmental standards.

The main focus of the educational program for foreign students who came to study abroad is based on well-known engineering methods, taking into account the current state of the branches of motor transport engine construction and engine maintenance, focuses on current specializations within which further professional career is possible.

A feature of this programme is its practical and applied object orientation – means and methods of maintenance and diagnostics of motor vehicle engines.

Training of the foreign students who have come for education behind a cord, is carried out in the conditions as much as possible approached to conditions of the future places of their professional activity: specialized auditoriums and laboratories are equipped by means for processes of manufacturing and processing of details, assembly of units, their testing, diagnostics, service and repair, computer technics for working out and research of means and methods of maintenance service and diagnostics of automobile engines, modern samples of automobiles.

Specialists of the industry after studying abroad in Ukraine are able to perform such professional duties:

  • To solve complex problems and problems in the field of power engineering, provides the application of theories of heat and mass transfer, technical thermodynamics, hydrogasodynamics, energy transformation, technical mechanics and methods of corresponding sciences;
  • To ensure the quality of work performed;
  • To apply the knowledge and understanding for definition, formulation and the decision of engineering problems with use of typical methods;
  • To analyze information from literary sources, to carry out patent search, and also to use databases and other sources of information for realization of professional activity;
  • Participate in work on innovative projects using research methods;
  • To apply standard methods of calculation at designing of details and units of the power and technological equipment;
  • To develop power saving up technologies and power saving up actions at designing and operation of the power and heat technological equipment;
  • To provide modelling of objects and processes with use of standard and special packages of programs and means of automation of engineering calculations, to spend experiments by the set techniques with processing and the analysis of results;\
  • To choose the main and auxiliary materials and methods of realization of the main heat technological processes at creation of the new equipment in the field of power engineering and to apply progressive methods of operation of the heat technological equipment for objects of power engineering, industry and transport, municipal and agrarian sectors of economy;
  • To participate in the works on development and implementation of heat technological processes during preparation of production of new products, to check the quality of installation and adjustment during testing and commissioning of new energy facilities and systems;
  • Define modes of operation of energy and heat technological equipment and apply methods of rational use of raw materials, energy and other types of resources;
  • To carry out works on standardization, unification and technical preparation for certification of technical facilities, systems, processes, equipment and materials, to organize metrological support of heat technological processes;
  • To understand engineering technologies, processes, systems and equipment;
  • To choose and apply usual analytical, settlement and experimental methods;
  • Develop and design power engineering products, processes and systems that meet the established requirements, which may include awareness of non-technical aspects;
  • Use the understanding of best practices in energy engineering design;
  • Apply safety rules;
  • Apply equipment, materials and tools, engineering technologies and processes;
  • Work effectively in a national and international context, as an individual and as a team member, and collaborate effectively with engineers but not engineers.
